Objectives & Planning

• Reduce / eliminate errors in pre-analytical stage especially registration and sampling
• Reduce the uncertainty of test performance
• Increase the accuracy of results
• Increase the percentage utility of reagents
• Eliminate post analytical errors
• Eliminate dispatch errors
• Effectively decrease the TAT
• Increase the number of tests performed in house
• Eliminate the equipment down time and computer down time
• Reduce the staff turnover
• Increase the home services to the patients
• Increase the overall business turnover

Achievements

• One of the first stand-alone small labs in Aurangabad and Marathwada region to be accredited by full NABL under ISO 15189 in 2014
• Amongst the first to introduce microphotographs in histopathology

• 4 Qualified Consultants (MD and DCP) in Pathology and Microbiology
• Staff for Managerial and Technical work with many having experience of >10–15 years

Establishment

• 2003 – Pathology Lab established with basic instruments
• 2005 – Added 3-part cell counter, Electrolyte analyzer, Coagulation analyzer
• 2008 – Introduced Immunoassay testing VIDAS for tumour markers and hormones
• 2018 – Upgraded to Advia 2120i 5-part cell counter and Vitros 250 dry biochemistry analyzer
• 2022 – Started RT-PCR Lab and Gel technique for Coombs Test and blood grouping
• 2024 – Added SYSMEX XN350 for advanced hematology tests
